Data infrastructure firm NetApphas announced the 14th cohort of its startup accelerator, NetApp Excellerator, selecting five early to growth-stage startups working in AI infrastructure and related technologies.

The selected companies include Synthefy, Filo Systems, Sentra, TrueFoundry, and Genloop.ai, which span stages from pre-seed to Series B. They were chosen for their work in areas such as customisable LLMs, cloud security, and multi-modal generative AI.

The cohort also includes startups from regions such as Israel and the US, the company said in a statement.

Synthefy is building what it claims to be the world’s first foundation model for multi-modal time series data. At the same time, Filo Systems focuses on optimising storage and bandwidth usage, and Genloop.ai helps businesses rapidly deploy LLMs using proprietary data.

“We're excited to welcome and partner with startups that are building transformative solutions using advanced technologies. The maturity stage and the focus area of each of the participating startups reflect our ongoing commitment to innovation with AI. Through the program, we offer resources, mentorship, and technological expertise they need to scale. I am looking forward to the collaborative success and witnessing how these AI-focused startups will shape the future of tech on a global stage,” said Vasanthi Ramesh, Managing Director, NetApp India.

Launched in 2017, the NetApp Excellerator programme has supported startups that have collectively raised over $600 million in funding, including $25 million in the past three months.

NetApp is an intelligent data infrastructure firm that provides unified data storage, integrated data services, and workload management solutions. Its platform is designed to eliminate silos and leverage observability and AI for advanced data management.

“As organisations rapidly adopt AI, the need for intelligent, scalable, and privacy-first security is pivotal. We see this programme as an incredible opportunity to combine forces, deepen our technology, provide better solutions to our customers, and help global organisations safeguard what matters the most: their data. And we are excited that we are partnering with a leader in the space that shares our vision,” said Yoav Regev, CEO, Sentra.
